Today ROM representatives met with representatives from the Veles Municipality including the incoming Mayor to discuss our new joint project to complete a feasibility study for the improvement of public transportation in Veles.
ROM is eager to embark on this project, funded by the UNDP, which will seek to improve mobility in this Macedonian city located at the cross roads of two major European thoroughfares.

Simple design modifications like this one can decrease vehicle speeds and provide more space for pedestrians, improving safety for drivers, cyclists, and pedestrians in addition to making a streetscape that is more pleasant and attractive 🏡

Over 100 stakeholders were consulted on various issues pertaining to BRT implementation for the growing regional hub.
