They've returned to Israel after three years that included COVID, war, and more...
And despite all the challenges, they excelled in their shlichut at Bnei Akiva Montreal

Meet the Israeli delegation for Sayarim 5784, the biggest of all time!

Machaneh Sayarim, World Bnei Akiva's yearly European summer camp, takes place annually in the Alps. Bnei Akiva chanichim from all over Europe gather together for this highly anticipated camp, which is also attended by an Israeli delegation of chanichim from Bnei Akiva Israel. Together, chanichim from countries across the world enjoy daily hikes and activities for two weeks. One of the main goals is to create a connection between Bnei Akiva chanichim in Israel and those in the diaspora, strengthening the bond between Jewish youth worldwide.

This year, the number of members in the Israeli delegation has doubled, with over 80 chanichim from Shevet Kaveh from all districts in the country traveling to Sayarim. The group includes chanichim from the movement who were evacuated from their homes in the Gaza envelope.

The Israeli delegation has an additional role this year. Alongside the fun and experiences, the delegation members will share insights about life in the State of Israel in general, and particularly about life since Simchat Torah - October 7th and the Iron Swords War.

Bnei Akiva New Zealand's Winter camp 2024 🇳🇿🇮🇱✨

Around the world, but still in the southern hemisphere, here are some pics from our awesome shlichim in New Zealand - Ariel and Roni HaCohen!

With 70 chanichim aged 8-17 and 20 incredible madrichim from all over New Zealand, they met for a week filled with fun activities, ruach, and learning more about Judaism!

They were exploring the origins of our religion through fun and educational activities, and found ways to stay connected to the Jewish world in day to day life 🙏🏼

Kol Hakavod to our Shlichim, who say they feel so lucky to be a part of BANZ, and are looking forward to seeing everyone again for Summer Camp in December!
