Delighted to kickstart a wonderful 4-week workshop programme with Campile Day Service out in Tara Rock GAA, Gorey. Thank you for choosing Leebow to work alongside your clients after receiving a very well deserved community art grant.

It’s always such a privilege to facilitate creative spaces with people of all abilities and today we began with our Mandala Clay Tile Workshop. Through process art, the focus is never on perfection or the end result — it’s about the experience of creating, exploring, experimenting and enjoying the moment.

Of course, I love seeing participants proud and happy with their finished pieces, but the real joy comes from the doing… the conversations, the laughter, the curiosity and the camaraderie shared within the group. Watching everyone engage with the clay, textures and patterns in their own unique way was simply wonderful.

Already looking forward to the next few weeks of creativity together 🎨✨

Happy 19th Birthday to our fluffy queen Nala 🐾🎉

Anyone who has visited the Leebow studio, whether for classes, camps or workshops, has more than likely met our beautiful Nala. The children and parents always seem to take to her instantly with all her fluffiness, and she absolutely loves the rubs, cuddles and attention.

After 19 years she still spends her days prancing about, lazing in the sunshine and somehow managing to get herself into the most unexpected places 🤣

Today the children in our weekly art class surprised her with presents and a birthday card. How adorable and thoughtful 💕

And despite being 19, she still carries on like a young one chasing the local tom cats away 😹

Rainbows, creativity and sunshine… what more could you ask for on a Sunday 🌈✨

Today’s 8th birthday party in Kilmuckridge was one of my favourite themes yet… rainbows and tote bags 🎨👜 Hosted in their beautiful family home just down the road, it was the perfect setting for an afternoon full of colour, laughter and creativity.

This wonderful bunch of children from the Irish school in Gorey created the most amazing colourful tote bags, each one bursting with personality and happy art 🌈 Such a fun and creative way to celebrate a birthday on this glorious sunny Sunday ☀️

A lovely way to end the week at Leebow. If you are looking for something a little different for your child’s birthday celebration, an arty party is always great fun and creates wonderful memories 🎉✨

Last weekend’s Bank Holiday May break brought us to beautiful Sligo for a lovely mix of downtime, family catch-ups, and a little creative work research ✨

Taking in the breathtaking Dartry Mountain range with the ever striking Benbulbin standing proudly in the background was simply magical. There’s something so inspiring about the landscape and creative energy of the west of Ireland 🌿⛰️

We also visited where the incredible works of Jack B. Yeats are on constant exhibit alongside the amazing artwork of 🎨 Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Sligo!

The café and gift shop were full of gorgeous Irish creativity too — including two of my favorite earring designers I discovered a few years ago in Kilrudery when I was doing art there and more recently at a Christmas market in Galway. The most beautiful glass jewelry by which will be a must treat myself birthday present to myself and hands down some of the best Irish chocolates I’ve ever tasted from 🍫✨

Trips like this always remind me how many amazing Irish artists, makers, and small businesses we have to support 🇮🇪❤️

Sunshine, history, nature and a little adventure all in one day ☀️🌿 What a stunning first visit to Avondale House & Forest Park and the Treetop Walk. From a fascinating tour of the historic house—learning about life in times gone by, the birthplace of Charles Stewart Parnell, and Ireland’s first forestry school—to a leisurely wander through the treetops taking in the spectacular views, it was such a special place to explore.

And yes… I fully embraced being a big kid too 😄 From the fun interactive elements along the walk, climbing the tower for those breathtaking views, to sliding back down the tube slide!

A huge thank you as well to the wonderful staff I had the pleasure of meeting, who generously showed me around other parts of this inspiring space as we explored ideas for a potential future collaboration. Exciting possibilities ahead ✨

If you haven’t visited yet, it’s well worth the trip. History, creativity, adventure and nature all in one beautiful setting.

Well that’s a wrap for our weekly art classes 🎨

We finished the year off with a festive Christmas clay décor workshop for both parents and kids. The art created was fantastic, but the fun in the making was what really mattered ✨

Festive treats were enjoyed, plenty of glitter was used, and it was the perfect way to end a fabulous 2025 🎄
