What a start.

Just one day into our St Mary’s Convent Primary School interviews and we’ve already gathered a remarkable collection of stories & memories.

Your school. Your story.

If St Mary’s was part of your life, we’d love to hear from you before the Afternoon Tea Celebrations on 12th June.

Selected stories will feature in a special keepsake publication in the Meath Chronicle.

Margaret Hoey (née O’Brien) attended the old schoolhouse at Newtown National School before later becoming a teacher at St Mary’s in Trim.

Teaching was a family tradition. Margaret’s sister also became a teacher, while their mother, Mrs O’Brien, taught in Scoil Mhuire, Heronstown NS.
