ShoutOut Drama is a drama group for teenagers with ASD. Brenda is a Masters Graduate of Modern Drama from UCD.

A place to connect with each other, have a lot of fun and learn social skills along the way through the medium of drama. She is passionate about Community Drama and has written, directed and acted in many productions at
different levels. Brenda has worked in the disability sector for more than 10 years, developing a specialised programme for school leavers with ASD. She focuses on
using Drama techniques to develop social skills and improved interactions with peers.

AIB Midleton

AIB Bank Midleton is hosting a ‘Spinathon’ event on Thursday 19th September in aid of the very worthy voluntary association The Rainbow Club. The Rainbow Club is a voluntary run club for children with autism, currently based in Mahon and is the AIB Cork chosen charity for 2019.

URGENT!

Princess in missing from Broomfield, Midleton since yesterday 2nd of November .. she is the second one of my cats to go missing in the last 4 months 😞 She is small (could be mistaken for a kitten) 2 years old, neutered , MICROCHIPPED but not wearing a collar .. she's completely white with big blue eyes .. princess is deaf so won't come if you call her so if you see her or think you have seen her please ring me on 0879379940 as soon as possible , thanks .

Drama can help us tap into the imagination of people with autism.Play-based approaches are a way to connect with people with autism who may have missed that very important stage during childhood; a vital way of learning communication skills, sharing skills, negotiation skills etc. We simulate these situations in a drama group; a safe space to practice real life skills in a fun way.
