This morning's mindful moment brings you for a little paddle with me, as I connect to the sound of the water, the heat of the sun on my face, the dance of the sea w**d, the texture of the sand and stones beneath my feet.
This is your reminder to stop the car, whip your shoes off and dip your feet in, whether it's the sea, a lake, a stream, a pond, a puddle... I have never once regretted it 😁🙌

When I walk barefoot, I notice myself arriving back in my body.
I feel the texture beneath me.
I slow my pace.
I breathe differently.
I become aware of the living world around me.
Whether you think of this as grounding, exchanging energy with the earth, nervous-system regulation, or simply the deeply human experience of being in direct contact with nature… there is something powerful in it.
We are not separate from the natural world.
We are made from the same elements.
We carry the cycles of the earth within us.
We are part of this web of life.
So perhaps, when you can, take off your shoes.
Stand on the grass.
Walk along the shoreline.
Let your feet meet the earth.
And notice what happens.
You belong here.
