We are very excited to announce our shop and pizzeria at the dairy in toonsbridge will be open each weekend until the 21st of December. We will then close for a shorter break than normal this year, hope to see you soon! 🍕🌸

It is with broken hearts that we say goodbye to our beautiful, caring, strong, gentle and courageous Vanessa Clarke. She was our sister, sister-in-law, aunt, friend, minder, problem solver, advice giver and business collaborator.

We are writing to inform you that during routine testing, a 10.5kg batch of our buffalo ricotta was found to contain Listeria monocytogenes. As a small family-run dairy, the health and wellbeing of our customers is our top priority. In response, we made the decision to recall all batches of both cow and buffalo ricotta — not just the affected batch — as a precautionary measure to ensure complete customer safety.
Thanks to the swift action and support of the Department of Agriculture and our dedicated team, we were able to respond quickly and decisively. We extend our sincere thanks to both the department and our staff for their efficiency, professionalism, and commitment during this process.
We have and are conducting extensive testing across our facility and are confident that the issue was isolated to a damaged shelf within the dedicated ricotta fridge. The shelves have been replaced, and additional sanitation protocols have been introduced to prevent any recurrence. We are continuing to produce (with daily batch testing) our other products as the incident was confined to a designated area specifically for ricotta.

Over the moon to have three products awarded stars in this year's Great Taste Awards.

The Greek Style cheese that we recently started making in our dairy with the beautiful milk from our own herd of water buffalo on our farm was awarded ⭐️⭐️⭐️ the top prize!

"What an absolute stunner of a cheese this is!" they said.

Our cultured butter ⭐️⭐️
Made from the cream left after we make our fior di latte, from local cows milk, and so contains all the cultures of traditional mozzarella making.

Loomi ⭐️
Again made in our dairy with the beautiful cows milk we buy in from a couple of local dairy farms has become a customer favourite in the range of cheeses we make.

Thank you so much to the wonderful team in our cheese room and the packers, order fillers, van drivers, invoice writers, patient neighbours, buffalo milkers, cows milk suppliers, milk collectors, fence fixers, boiler repairers, well pump fixers, whey collectors, slurry tank emptiers, lime spreaders, hay savers, to mention just a few and not forgetting the amazing buffalo and cows that produce the beautiful milk it all begins with.
It really does take a village!

We are very excited to say we will be reopening next Saturday the 19th of April. We will be open Saturdays 10-8 and Sundays 10-6 serving food from 12 both days. We can’t wait to see everyone again🌸❤️❤️

We are delighted with the results of The British And Irish Cheese Awards in Bath this week. We won awards for 5 of our products;

Feta Style = Gold
Buffalo Mozzarella = Silver
Loomi = Bronze
Buffalo Ricotta = Bronze
Butter Salted = Bronze
