Protests Spill Across Campus, in Defiance of Trinity College's decision to shut down the Dining Hall occupation triggered protests across campus.

Over 400 former and current intercounty hurling, football and camogie players, came together in 13 different locations in Ireland and abroad to show solidarity with the homeless by sleeping rough for a night.

To date an impressive just over €180,000 has been collected and will be as well as support charities that include the Peter McVerry Trust, DePaul, the Simon Community, Focus Ireland and the Capuchin Day Centre, Cope Galway, Thomand House, and Novas based in Limerick.

Extremely dangerous scenes currently underway in Catalan. The people are holding a referendum asking the question,

"Do you want Catalonia to become an independent state in the form of a republic?"

The vote has been deemed illegal and so the police have taken the ballot boxes. Riots commenced. Police brutality is at a high. No one is safe. There has been rubber bullets flying, elderly folk being beat on the streets. The fire service have been seen trying to protect the people.

Ibrahim Halawa found not guilty of all charges in Egyptian court The hearing of Halawa’s case was delayed 28 times.

Been a busy few hours! Loads of new interest.

By now a lot of you are probably aware of tonight's happenings in Charlottesville, USA.

Here is a picture of a small group of students standing their ground chanting 'No racists! No K*K! No Fascist USA'. They are surrounded by a pit of torch wielding fascist animals who are screaming 'White Power 'at them.

There are at least 2000 alt right fascists marching on a college campus. An estimated 3 dead and 35 injured. A car was driven through a crowd and yet the president of the US still won't denounce this evening's actions. There is no place in this world for such hatred.

Interesting idea. Open DIY ethos. You show up and participate. The festival goers dictate experience. As opposed to the standard platform of a line up and scheduled programme. It's going to be interesting to see how this goes. https://reincarnationfestival.com/
