Delivering this cookie has been a journey!
Alice and her better half visited the back in November and she fell in love with this teddy.
Manuel wanted to gift it to her for Santa Lucia, but we couldn’t find the perfect timing to meet up without being caught! But we made it at the end, just in time to celebrate!

In Italy, is celebrated on December 13, especially in Sicily (Saint Lucy’s homeland) and in cities like Siracusa, Verona, Bergamo, and Brescia.
The day honors Saint Lucy (Santa Lucia) as a Christian martyr and protector of sight and the poor. In Sicily, many people avoid eating bread or pasta and instead prepare rice dishes (such as cuccìa) in remembrance of a famine-ending grain shipment linked to the saint.
Religious processions, Masses, and festivals are common.
In northern Italy, particularly Verona and Bergamo, Santa Lucia also brings gifts to children, similar to Santa Claus. Overall, Italian celebrations combine religious devotion, local traditions, and community festivities.

One of the Memory Bears I’ve made over Christmas…
This customer asked to combine 4 different tops belonging to his Dad, Mum, Grandfather and Grandmother.
The heart contains the cigarette burns, from his father’s T-shirt, a very personal touch of a very special memory.
