Individuals in Burke O'Learys, Nova, and BDS have been trying something a little different lately.. Drumroll please… Aerial Yoga with Lioness Fitness!😁💜
Aerial Yoga is a really fun and relaxing activity that supports balance, movement, and flexibility in a gentle and enjoyable way. Hanging, stretching, and moving with the support of the aerial hammock can feel incredibly calming, helping to reduce stress and promote wellbeing.
Most importantly, everyone who took part came away with a fantastic sense of achievement and confidence after trying something new and challenging.
A huge thank you to the team at Lioness Fitness for creating such a welcoming and positive experience for all involved. 🌟

We're excited to share that we've recently had solar panels installed.🌍
They're not generating power just yet, that'll be happening in the coming weeks, but it's a step we're really pleased to be taking as we continue to improve our facilities and reduce our environmental impact.😁

Inclusion, creativity, and self-expression were at the heart of our Trash Panche project 💚
Our entry, “The Sound of Inclusion,” was created using recycled newspapers and CDs, with everyone playing a part in bringing the design to life.
The piece celebrated expression beyond words and shared a powerful message:
🎵 “Listen, hear every voice and make music for all.” 🎵
The newspapers represented society’s voices and stories, reminding us that every voice matters and that people with disabilities deserve to be seen, heard, and included. The CDs symbolised connection, communication, and amplifying every voice.
A huge congratulations to John from our Bunclody Hub, winner of the competition, with his fantastic performance of “Just The Way I Am” by The Tumbling Paddies 🎤✨
Well done John and everyone at Bunclody Hub on this fantastic achievement, we are so proud of you all!

The Wexford “Disability Employment” Working Group
We invite employers to complete our short anonymous survey, which aims to identify current gaps in supporting disability inclusive workplaces.
This survey has been developed by Wexford “Disability Employment” Working Group. Established in 2024 the group brings together seven organisations that support people with disabilities to prepare for and secure employment in Wexford. Group members are Workability Programme, Employability, The National Learning Network, Cumas, DSP, Intuition at Reachability and the HSE Mental health team (IPS) and County Wexford Chamber.
The Working Group is committed to identifying, developing, and promoting strategies that help employers recruit, retain, and support people with disabilities. Our goal is to provide practical guidance and recommendations to foster inclusive, accessible, and equitable workplaces across County Wexford.
Survey results will be presented at our Disability Employment Road Show on 21 October in Wexford Town. Tickets for this event will be available from July.
