Eyrecourt Code Club (formally Eyrecourt Coderdojo) is based in Eyrecourt NS. It is an after-schools coding club confined to pupils of Eyrecourt NS.

Another Coolest Projects for Eyrecourt Code Club and officially the best ever! 13 coders showcased their projects and spoke to the judges. We saw so many interesting projects in the amazing environment of The Explorium. Lots of ideas for next year and great motivation to return.

Adding LEGO WeDo to this week's Code Club!
We had a Christmas code on our final session this year. We played with AI on Scratch and used face recognition. It was great fun!
Code Club
Halloween themed coding today from Eyrecourt Code Club.
We had fun setting up a simple game on Scratch where the goblin had to jump over the ghost.
Lots of collaboration, helping each other out and debugging!
Code Club
Today we tried AI. We first of all had to train the computer to recognise our commands. We had to record each command 8 times. This type of AI is called Machine learning.
We integrated it into a scratch game. A whole new experience for us. We found it on the Code Club resources page. We'll try more next week!
Code Club Coolest Projects

We kept with the sunshine theme yesterday in Code Club. We programmed our Micro bits to sense light. We also programmed the A button to tell the temperature. B button was pupils choice and we had a lot of fun programming music, sunsets, birds chirping, there was no end to the possibilities!
Great collaboration and teamwork yesterday, we learned a lot!

Another week of Micro:bits. Today we tackled and conquered the code to play Rock Paper Scissors!
We also made pedometers, our favourite thing so far with micro:bits!
