RIP for Pets

Poor Ziggy💔! His brother Slash has received a few fostering applications, but lovely Ziggy hasn’t had a single one. We can’t understand it – he’s every bit as handsome, sweet, affectionate and clever as his brother, and anyone who meets him falls in love with him💕 Can you give Ziggy a share to help him have better luck this time?🙏

We really want to take this gorgeous 10-month-old Border Collie into our care, but we need to find a foster home in Clare or a neighbouring county. Ziggy is currently staying with a kind family who took him in after an elderly farmer found himself struggling to care for an unexpected litter of puppies. They can only keep Ziggy until next week, and we desperately need somewhere for him to go🙏🏡

Ziggy is a bright, gentle and loving young dog who absolutely adores people. He has been living with three children, including one as young as four, and is wonderful with them. He loves attention, enjoys being involved in family life, and is happiest when he’s spending time with his humans🥰🐶

He also gets on very well with other dogs, so could happily live with a canine companion or two. However, any resident cats would probably prefer that Ziggy found a home elsewhere😅

Once again, our amazing team came together to rescue this beautiful male buzzard, who was found grounded by a farmer in Athlone.

The finder, Paddy, spotted the buzzard while out working in one of the fields and safely brought the bird back to the farm. Paddy then contacted both myself and John from The Barn Owl Project so we could organise help.

Sla kindly collected the buzzard and brought the bird to Limerick, where Shane Kerwin took over and transported the buzzard safely to us here in Bruree.❤️❤️

On arrival, the buzzard was underweight with a heavy parasite load and appears to have been struggling for some time. After receiving subcutaneous fluids and convalescent feeding, the buzzard was already looking much brighter this evening.❤️❤️❤️

A full veterinary assessment is planned for the morning, and we’re hopeful that, with care and time, this beauty can make a full recovery and be released back into the wild where the bird belongs.

FOSTER HOME URGENTLY NEEDED FOR YUKI🚨🏡 Please spread the word!! 🙏🚨

Can anyone open their home to Yuki for a couple of weeks? This beautiful 1-year-old Akita is currently staying with our director, but with several other dogs already at his place, it’s proving to be an overwhelming environment for her. Yuki is nervous around certain dogs and would be much happier in a foster home where she can be the only pet while we search for her forever family.

Yuki has already been through far too much in her short life. Before being rescued, she was left alone in a small garden for months, and neighbours had witnessed her being beaten💔 Despite having been neglected and abused, Yuki absolutely adores people🥰 She’s affectionate, friendly, cuddly, loves children, and wants nothing more than to be close to her humans. Since she was never properly socialised, walked, or given the chance to enjoy life before, she’s now embracing every new experience with enthusiasm✨

We’re looking for a foster home where Yuki can be the only dog, so that she can build her confidence around other dogs at her own pace. We haven’t tested her with cats, so she also needs a cat-free home. Experience with large, energetic breeds would be a huge advantage, with a patient fosterer who can help her to adjust to home life while we search her forever family.

Turned up in the pouring rain last night up at the campsite so the finder took him in. Does anyone realise this lovely dog? PROOF OF OWNERSHIP REQUIRED
