Director Tadhg O'Sullivan on collaborating with Brenda Fricker in The Swallow "finding someone in Brenda who had the presence and charisma to hold the attention for a whole film was the key to everything."
Collaboration lies at the heart of film and The Swallow would not have been possible without the help of two amazing and incredibly generous artists, Bernadette Kiely and Patricia Hurl who's work and studio bring the world of Brenda Fricker's character to life in the film.
This week you can still see The Swallow in the Film Institute (IFI), and Mayo Movie World and Arc Cinema Ennis so be sure to catch it before it finishes its cinema run.
