Here a small challenge for you all!

⚽ It takes less than 5 minutes to complete 200 passes between two people.
⚽ If you practice 200 passes a day for a week it adds up to 1,400 passes.
⚽ After a month it is 6 thousand passes!
⚽ After a year it is 72,000 passes!!

Imagine how much better at passing (and receiving) you would be after 72,000 extra passes. And all it takes is 5 minutes a day, so imagine if you did it for 10 minutes a day instead!! Who's up for the challenge? Let us know how you get on!

The whole world, not just those of us obsessed with football was shocked by what happen to Denmark's hero Christian Eriksen and it is reminder that such sudden heart complications can happen to anyone - even professional footballers. We at the Football Lab have trained First-Aid and CPR personnel and a defibrillator on site at our training pitches at the National Sports Campus in Dublin. It is so great that Christian is recovering, but it shows that early intervention is vital for these rare but potentially fatal medical emergencies. 👨‍⚕️

Today is a big day as Euro 2020 finally gets underway (good luck Italy and Turkey this evening!), albeit a year later than planned. And while we are gutted that Ireland 🇮🇪 won't be there we will be cheering on our friends from Poland 🇵🇱 (who play their first game on Monday against Slovakia). Did you know the team and coaches behind the Football Lab are very successful footballers in their own right, particularly at Futsal as Blue Magic FC Dublin? The team was founded in Dublin in 2009 and has gone from strength to strength, including playing in the UEFA Futsal Champions League Last year was a particularly successful one for Blue Magic as they were crowned FAI Futsal Cup winners to become the Champions of Ireland and only losing out to Futsal Shkupi of North Macedonia with a place in the last 32 of the UEFA Futsal Champions League at stake.
