What is a Free Little Library?

A Free Little Library is a warm and welcoming space where both children and adults can enjoy reading, share stories, and even play games. It’s part of a community initiative to spread the love of reading.

Children (and grown-ups too!) are encouraged to:
✨ Take a book home to read
✨ Return it when finished
✨ Donate a book so others can enjoy it

It’s all about sharing, community, and making reading fun and accessible for everyone.

Bookings now open for term one of Language Rockets 25/26. Term one will run from 18th/19th Sept up until October mid term. DM to reserve your space in one of the three groups. Any questions don’t hesitate to ask.

It’s no secret that books are one of my favourite ways to interact with little ones and develop language.Whats your favourite toddler book?

A really easy recipe that will bring hours of fun for these rainy (summer) days. Stores well in the fridge and no panic if a bit gets tasted 🤣🤣

Bubbles are such a simple yet effective way to engage with your toddler and provide multiple opportunities for communication. Does your toddler love bubbles

This task isn’t about teaching colours , I’ve mentioned before that colours, numbers, shapes etc aren’t a high priority to ‘teach’ to toddlers; this is about matching, categorising and sorting..recognising that items can be grouped based on their attributes. I find older kids still enjoy this game too. Try and use the Lámh signs for ‘same’ and ‘find’ during this game.

Perfect weather for water play this week. If you can’t get to the beach..just fill a basin and add some toys/tupperware to wash…suds optional but always fun 🫧🫧🫧🫧 Spend some time playing with your little one moddling and repeating simple language ‘splash’ ‘wash wash wash’ ‘ all wet’
