📣 The Ceasefire is Just the Beginning – Free Palestine Now! 🇵🇸

The ceasefire is welcome, but let’s be absolutely clear: this is the bare minimum. It’s not justice, it’s not freedom, and it’s not peace. History has shown us that Israel cannot be trusted to honour agreements. This is just the beginning. Now we fight for a Free Palestine!

📌 A History of Broken Deals:
• Oslo Accords (1993): Israel promised to withdraw from occupied territories and halt settlement expansion. Instead, settlements have tripled, stealing more Palestinian land.
• 2008 Ceasefire: Israel launched Operation Cast Lead, breaking the truce and killing over 1,400 Palestinians, the majority civilians.
• 2014 Ceasefire Agreement: Promises to ease the blockade on Gaza were ignored. Instead, Israel tightened restrictions, turning Gaza into an open-air prison.

These violations prove one thing: Israel will not stop its apartheid regime unless the world demands it.

Long live the resistance—in Gaza, in the West Bank, and across the world. This is a fight for freedom, dignity, and justice. The ceasefire gives us the chance to push harder, to organise, and to ensure that the occupation ends for good.

After two long years of homelessness, one spent in emergency accommodation, my 7-year-old and I finally have a place to call home. 🏠 It’s hard to express how grateful we are for this apartment, but it’s heartbreaking knowing so many others in Ireland are still struggling in a worsening housing crisis. It actually breaks my heart that there are over 14,000 people waiting on accommodation and over 4,000 kids who have to grow up with this as a core memory. Who have to eat their meals off a bedroom floor, do their homework on the bed that they share with their parent, have no space for even the simplest collection of toys. Who have to endure and be traumatised by the daily and nightly screams of a woman who has severe schizophrenia. We need to do better as a society, we need a new government. This crisis is no accident; it’s a result of the government’s failure to act and failure to care. They have put their own greedy interests above the needs of their people. Today, you would have been 72. I can’t help but think of how proud you’d be of the granddaughter you helped bring into this world. She has become a strong and passionate activist for the cause of Palestine and its people. Her performance today was nothing short of awe-inspiring.
