Entries for the South West Regional Dressage Qualifier at Skevanish Equestrian Centre, hosted by West Cork Riding Club, close on Friday, 19th June 2026 at 12 noon.

Before entering, competitors are reminded to please ensure:

✅ Your horse registered and eligible to compete.
✅ Your riding hat complies with current AIRC and Dressage Ireland approved safety standards.
✅ All tack and equipment intended for competition is permitted under current AIRC and Dressage Ireland rules.
✅ You are entered in the correct class and grade.

🐴 Tack Fitting Demo with Jess Parsons 🐴

Join us on 12th July 2026 at 10:30am for an informative tack fitting demonstration with Jess Parsons Equine Performance.

Whether you’re looking to improve your horse’s comfort, performance, or simply want to learn more about correct saddle and tack fit, this session is a fantastic opportunity to gain expert insight. Demo horses and riders will be provided, so no horse is required to attend.

This event is proudly supported through the AIRC Training Bursary, and discounted one-to-one sessions can be booked directly with Jess following the demonstration.

We are pleased to confirm that Open (non-qualifier) classes will be available on the day. These classes are designed for riders who would like to take part on the day but already know they will be unable to attend the Championships in Mullingar. By offering Open classes in this format, we can maximise the number of championship qualification opportunities available to riders who intend to compete at the Championships.

If a rider competes in a qualifier class and secures one of the top three qualifying places but is unable to attend the Championships, their qualification place will not be passed down to the next placed rider in the individual class.

If a rider on a qualifying team also qualifies as an individual, the individual qualification place will be offered to the next highest-placed eligible rider.

Please note: no more than two riders from the same grade may be included on any one team.

A Walk & Trot Test will also be available on the day for riders who wish to take part at this level.
