Thank you all who also shopped in Tesco and gave there blue tokens towards our group.

Cold weather can have a serious impact on the life and functionality of defibrillator batteries. When temperatures drop, the gel in electrode pads can freeze, making them ineffective. Extreme cold can also harm the internal parts of a defibrillator, which could lead to malfunctions or even total failure.

It’s crucial to check the storage conditions of your AEDs, whether they're in your vehicle, an unheated cabinet, a dressing room, or any building. For more details, make sure to consult the manufacturer's recommendations.

Wishing everyone a safe Halloween! πŸ§™β€β™‚οΈπŸ§Ÿβ€β™€οΈπŸ¦ΈπŸ•·πŸ•Έ

With evenings dark at this time of year, it’s important to ensure that both adults and children can be seen when out and about, particularly if you are out trick or treating. Ideally your child should wear light coloured clothing, have a reflective strip on the front and back, or a high visibility vest and carry a torch. It is a good idea to avoid poorly lit areas and use footpaths where available.

If you are driving at Halloween, remember to slow down and watch out for children in dark costumes.
