How do you actually run a student-led coding class? 💻
Two steps, straight from our recent webinar: pin the lessons you want the class working on, then share the class login code.
Students land on the right lesson and get straight to work. No passwords, no “what page are we on?”
Combined with our step-by-step coding lessons, students can work through activities at their own pace, follow clear instructions, and build their skills independently, while teachers can still guide and support whenever needed.
Simple to set up. Easy for students to follow. Built to make coding work in the classroom. 🚀

Today is the 256th day of the year — which is why it's the Day of the Programmer. 256 is 2⁸: the number of different values one byte (eight bits) can hold, from 0 to 255. Programmers picked the date a byte would pick.

Building the Transition Year timetable? Coding Ireland's TY programme is seven standalone modules — mix and match to build a full TY year around your school day:
- Introduction to Coding
- Advanced Coding
- Exploring Digital Media
- Computer Skills
- Enterprise and Business Basics
- Exploring Artificial Intelligence
- Robotics and Automation
Each module is project-based, ten lessons of 40-60 minutes delivered over 8-10 weeks, built to the NCCA Transition Year Programme Statement, with a certificate awarded on completion and no terminal exam. Combine as many as your timetable needs.
