🌈 Athenry Community Playground is built and maintained by the residents in Athenry.

It receives no financial support other than through the fundraising efforts of the community and businesses in and around the town.

In 2018 the community raised over €10,000 to carry out essential repairs. We were also awarded LEADER funding towards an inclusive carousel for wheelchair users and their friends.

Stay tuned for the reopening of the playground and ribbon cutting on the new roundabout 🌈

If anyone wants to get this started the idea is pretty simple....

- Paint a rock
- on the back write one of the following...share / re hide / paint.
- pop your rock in town where people will see or find it.
- post a picture clue of where your rock is (if you like)
- if someone finds it they can do whatever it says on the back of the rock...
Makes a walk a little more interesting....

So who will start us off ???
