Roads are closed around Leinster House this evening and possibly for the coming days.

All 193/194 departures will start at Leinster Street South at advertised times

There will be no service from

Merrion Street
St. Stephen's Green

We plan to run a full service across all of our routes tomorrow and all school services.

Please keep an eye on possible short notice road closures and as soon as become aware of any we will update but hopefully tomorrow will see a return to normal conditions.

What a day for traffic delays in the country's urban centres.

We plan to run a full 193/194 service tomorrow, at this stage it will be difficult to see what potential diversions could be in place tomorrow if the protest continues into tomorrow but we hope things will be calmer.

Tuesday 7th April

There is a significant protest planned for Dublin tomorrow 7th April.

There will be significant disruption planned in the areas of:

*Dublin Port Tunnel
Dublin City Centre
Government Buildings*

This protest is likely to be the most significant to take place in Dublin for many years.

As the main focus points of the protest is to be along the route we use into and out of the City Centre and will be building from 07:00 we feel that the only option we have is to not run any 193/194 services tomorrow.

This is a decision not taken lightly but we feel necessary as we will not be able to guarantee how or where we will get to the City in the morning or how or where we can pick up and exit the City tomorrow evening.

Routes 195 and 741 will not be impacted by the protest.

We will update tomorrow and expect services to run on Wednesday but that will be subject to review of the situation tomorrow evening.

We are hiring a bus driver for our school bus services and also to cover Ashbourne Connect services.

We offer a full time permanent position all year around so there are no unpaid breaks during the term time.

Drivers will work weekdays with no late finishes.

As the position involves moving school children the successful driver will need to under Garda Vetting to be able to work the position.

20:25 195 bus from Balbriggan to Ashbourne due to a soil inside the bus on last trip that means the bus has to be taken out of service to be cleaned, the 22:05 service from Ashbourne will operate as scheduled. TFI Local Link Louth Meath Fingal

The 18:45 195 from Ashbourne to Balbriggan will not be able to operate this evening due to a technical issue with the bus, all other 195 services tonight will operate as planned.
