Enniscorthy Municipal District is pleased to once again launch the Shopfront, Painting and Awning Grant Scheme for 2026, aimed at enhancing the appearance of businesses and improving the overall image of our towns and villages.
✅ Grant supports available:
• Shopfront Painting Grant – up to €300
• Shopfront Awning Grant – up to €500
*Applications will also be considered for painting residential premises above shops in Enniscorthy, Bunclody and Ferns.
📍 Eligible locations:
Ballindaggin, Bree, Bunclody, Enniscorthy, Davidstown, Ferns & Kiltealy.
🌸 Enniscorthy Municipal District will also manage Flower Planting Schemes for 2026 in high‑visibility public areas across Enniscorthy, Bunclody and Ferns.

Kellihers Electrical - Rexel Group opens its 24th branch with a new Wexford location 🎉

The new location at Unit 10A, Ballyloughan Business Park, Gorey (just off the Arklow Road) brings an extended range of electrical supplies to Wexford electrical contractors.

Kellihers Electrical, part of the global Rexel Group, officially opened the new branch to customers on Thursday 7th May, operating Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM and Saturday, 8:00 AM–12:00 PM.

“This new branch is an important step in our commitment to better serve Wexford and the wider Southeast,” said Orla Matthews, CEO of Rexel Ireland. “With convenient access from the busy Arklow Road, an extended product range and improved customer services, including a 24/7 out-of-hours order collection area, this investment strengthens our ability to support contractors locally while continuing to build long-term customer relationships in the region.”
