Local Tennis Club in 2005 declaring two new astro-turf courts officially open for play.
Following the formation of the Club in 1996, new and improved playing facilities were officially opened by the then Minister for Agriculture Joe Walsh T.D. Floodlights were installed and this paved the way to what has now materialised into one of the most active clubs in the West Cork region

We had a great day last Sunday, celebrating the opening of the newly resurfaced lower court and the installation of new lighting. Many thanks to Christopher O'Sullivan TD for cutting the ribbon and performing the official opening. Thanks also to the committee and all the members for making it a day to remember.

Not long to go now. Doors open at 2pm and Christopher O'Sullivan TD, will officially open the new facilities at 2.30pm. Promises to be a great day of fun tennis for all the family. All welcome, members and non-members.

There are Wednesday morning beginner tennis lessons starting this Wed at Ardfield TC from 9:30-10:30 and running for 5 weeks. Cost is 50 euro.
No experience is needed and all equipment provided. A nice friendly fun introduction to tennis.

We are delighted to introduce Jennifer Colford, a Tennis Ireland Level 2 coach who will be running coaching sessions at ARTC this season.
Here's what's on offer:
Adult Beginners — Tuesday mornings, 9:30–10:30am
Starting tomorrow! FULLY BOOKED
Adult Beginners — Wednesday mornings (new group forming)
Can start this week with enough interest.
Improvers — Wednesday evenings, 7–8pm (new group forming)
Can also start this week. Adult courses run for 6 weeks at €60 per person.
Teens (approx. 13–17) — Thursday, 6pm
6-week course at €50 per person.
