The forgotten one....

As a bladesmith, I’ve always had deep respect for local knifemakers and traditional blades. Especially here in Bali ,the history of knifemaking runs deep, and the craftsmanship has stood the test of time.
I’m not really a traditional knife kind of guy… but I do enjoy tweaking tradition into something that fits my own style. Respect the roots, then add your own edge.
This is my version of a Balinese steak knife prototype, .. designed for a boutique restaurant setting.
A D2 steel blade, paired with a local exotic wood handle, and finished with a Balinese-style carved bolster.
Traditional soul, modern attitude.
Built for the table, but forged with bladesmith blood...
