By the time everything was mapped out here, what stayed with us most was how different each position on the hillside feels.
Some plots open wide toward the coastline. Others sit more quietly into the contours of the land. Choosing one is not really about picking a number on a plan. It is about finding the part of the slope that feels right to you.
That has always been the intention behind this place. Not to shape how people live here, but to give them the space to decide that for themselves over time.
If this part of Lombok has been on your mind for a while, it might be the right moment to look at what is still available.

Timing played a big role in how we thought about this project.
South Lombok is still early compared to other coastal areas in the region, but the direction of growth around Tampah Bay and the Mandalika corridor is already clear. Positions like this, slightly elevated and close to the coastline, are becoming harder to find.
What makes Ciloka’hills different is that it allows people to approach ownership in different ways. Some will build straight away. Others will hold land and wait. Some will move gradually over time.
For us, the decision was never about short term expectations. It came from wanting to be part of an area we believe will keep evolving in a steady and natural way.

Spending time on this hillside changes your pace a little without you really noticing it.
You walk more. You spend more time outside. Even moving through the land starts to feel different when the terrain is part of your day rather than something built over.
The walking trails follow the natural shape of the slope so the experience of being here stays connected to the landscape. The shared sports space came from the same idea. Not something busy or centralised, just somewhere people can stay active or cross paths naturally.
For us, this part of the plan was never about adding facilities. It was about supporting the kind of lifestyle the location already encourages.

One of the reasons this site stood out to us early on was how naturally connected it feels without losing its sense of distance from busier areas.
You are only a few minutes from Mawun and Tampah, which are still some of the most open stretches of coastline in South Lombok. Kuta and Mandalika are close enough for cafés, restaurants and everyday convenience, but far enough that the hillside itself stays quiet.
The airport is also within comfortable reach, which makes arriving here surprisingly easy considering how removed the setting feels once you are on site.
That balance between access and privacy is something we kept coming back to when we first spent time here.

One of the things that shaped this project from the beginning was keeping the number of plots small.
We did not want the hillside to feel dense or overplanned. The intention was always to leave space between homes and let the landscape stay the main feature of the area, not the development itself.
Because of that, availability here has always been limited. As plots are selected, what remains becomes more specific. Different elevations, different outlooks, different positions along the slope.
For us, that slower pace of release has always felt like the right way to do this. It helps protect the character of the place.

One of the things people like most about plots at Ciloka’hills is the freedom they give you over time.
Some owners are already thinking about the villa they want to build here. Others are simply securing their place on the hillside first and letting the next step take shape naturally.
Because the land sits above Tampah Bay, it lends itself to homes that open toward the view, catch the breeze, and stay private from neighbouring plots. Those same qualities also make hillside villas here work well for future short-stay rentals if owners decide to go in that direction later.
There’s no timeline you need to follow.
You can build when the moment feels right, or hold the land while the area continues to grow around you.
That flexibility is part of what makes land like this worth holding onto.

One of the first questions people ask when they discover Ciloka’hills is whether ownership here is actually straightforward. The short answer is yes.
Plots within the estate are structured under HGB title through a PT PMA company, which is the established legal pathway used across Indonesia for long-term foreign property ownership.
Payments are handled in stages and supervised by a licensed Indonesian notary, so funds remain protected throughout the transfer process until ownership is formally secured.
For buyers unfamiliar with the process, we guide each step; from company setup through to title completion. So nothing needs to be arranged alone, and we will be there to assist you through every stage.
The intention from the beginning was to make ownership here feel as clear as the land itself. Because a hillside estate only works long term when the structure behind it is as solid as the ground it stands on.
From above, you can start to understand how the hillside opens toward Tampah Bay, how the levels move naturally across the site, and how much space sits between the estate and the coastline below.
This is what stood out to us when we first spent time here.
The road line you see beginning to take shape isn’t there to change the land. It’s there to make it possible to live within it comfortably, while keeping the natural character of the estate intact.
Even now, before anything is built, you can already feel what life up here will be like.

Access always comes first on a hillside project like this.
The concrete entry road into Ciloka’hills is now in place, and that changed the feeling of the site immediately. What used to be a difficult slope to walk is now something you can actually move through and understand.
From there, we began shaping the internal estate roads. The main routes across the hillside have now been formed through cut-and-fill works, and you can already start to see how the different plot levels connect to each other in a natural way.
The next step is reinforcing these routes properly. Retaining walls and bridge sections are being prepared so the road network becomes permanent, stable, and ready to support the villas that will follow.
Infrastructure like this doesn’t always look dramatic in photos, but it’s where a project becomes real. You stop imagining where things might go. You start seeing how they will actually work.

When we first stood on this ridge, the decision was immediate.
The view opens across Tampah Bay, the farmland below, and the protected mountain ridgelines beyond. Nothing crowds the horizon. Nothing interrupts the skyline. And importantly, nothing is likely to.
One of the reasons this position matters is what can’t be built in front of it. The green zones between Ciloka’hills and the coastline form part of nationally protected Indonesian land. That protection preserves the openness of the landscape and keeps the character of the view intact long-term.
This is what gives hillside land like this its real value.
Plots here range from around 200 m² up to 2,000 m², which allows owners to choose how they want to live with the view. Some will build compact private villas. Others will shape larger homes that follow the contour of the ridge.
Either way, the relationship to the landscape stays the same.
Living above Tampah Bay means waking up with distance in front of you, not development. It means airflow, privacy, and horizon lines that don’t change every year.
We didn’t choose this location because it looked good in a photo.
We chose it because it will still look the same ten years from now.
— Not just elevation, permanence.
