An Art Deco Experience by maic

Rooted in the bold geometry and symmetry of the 1920s, this Art Deco concept was studied in detail and translated into a fully immersive environment. The Gapstars logo was seamlessly integrated into the design language, becoming part of the architecture, patterns, and visual rhythm of the space.

Every detail was considered, from hair and makeup to wardrobe and styling, ensuring everything aligned with the era and created a cohesive experience.

The goal was to transport guests into a different time, where every element felt true to the era.

Roxanne, from the Philippines, and Dimithra, from Sri Lanka, now live overseas. For their wedding in Sri Lanka, they wanted their guests to feel at home, their home between islands, their Asian home.

For those who seek the extraordinary, there is nothing quite like Maic.

Introducing: The One Table Series

Today we launch the first in our video series, The One Table, created to inspire you to design with intention, using what’s already around you.

For our first table, we’ve put together an Avurudhu Table rooted in simplicity and meaning. Using dry paddy rice, an oil lamp, clay pots, lotus flowers, corn, wooden figures, rattan, and whatever else you can find at home, we’ve crafted a setting that feels both familiar and festive.
