Exercise relieves tension and stress, boosts physical and mental energy, and enhances wellbeing through the release of endorphins.
Additionally, if weβre mindful of sensations and how our body feels as we move it or hold it in different poses, we can interrupt the flow of constant thoughts.

Through the course of life we have the tendency to favor things that we like and avoid things that we do not, which gradually creates imbalances in our bodies and habits in our minds. Yoga helps us to undo our conditioning to become ourselves again.

YOGA CHITTA VRITTI NIRODHAH
The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali is one of the foundation texts of yoga as we know it. Its teachings are written in the form of 196 sutras: short messages about life, consciousness and how to live well.
Patanjali defines yoga as chitta vritti nirodhah β the stilling of the fluctuations of the mind. By quieting our mind, we can cultivate the natural union within ourselves so that we find peace and bliss.

2023 was not an easy one.
It was a bumpy ride through which I often felt exhausted, stuck and disappointed. There were moments when everything seemed falling apart and while I was investing a lot of effort in making a step forward, I kept finding myself two steps back.
The year did not go as I hoped for however, it does not mean it was unsuccessful! Its value lies in the recurrent realisation of incredibleness of people that Iβm honoured to have in my life - their inspiration, support and reminder of the bigger picture when my perspective is restricted.
With a bit of time the little defeats turn into lessons and opportunities and despite the uncertainty that lies ahead of me, there is no fear but curiosity.
βSometimes things have to fall to pieces so they can come back together as they were intended.β
I wish you lots of love, in all its forms, as it indeed is the only way to happiness. I appreciate every single practice we got to share and would like you to know that these are always making my days brighter and fill my heart with gratitude. π€

One of the long-standing yoga misconceptions is that it's solely for women. Conversely, back in ancient times yoga was a men-dominated practice! It is a mighty tool to discover the endless potential of our minds and everyone can benefit from it.
This group of beautiful men fitted a yoga session to their itinerary when travelling through Dalmatia - and they did great! Thank you for breaking down the gender biases and making my morning. π
