In P**A, atop the central hill, stands the 17th-century Venetian Fortress, constructed on the site of a prehistoric settlement of the Histrii. The Histrii village was subsequently demolished by the Romans during their conquest of Istria. When in P**a, get to the fortress and enjoy great views!
