Sayyidina Abu Hurairah رضي الله عنه reported: The Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم said:

"There are *three to whom Allah will not speak on the Day of Resurrection* , nor will He look at them or purify them, and they will have a painful punishment:
*1)* A man who has extra water but he refuses to share it with a traveler,
*2)* A man who swears a false oath in order to sell some goods after the afternoon prayer and he swears by Allah that he bought it for a certain price although it is untrue,
*3)* And a man who pledges allegiance to a leader only to get something in the world and if he is given he will fulfill his pledge but if he is not given he will not fulfill his pledge." *[Sahih Muslim]*
