We grew up differently. It was “because I said so.” And while that built resilience in many of us, the world our children are growing up in is very different today.
They are exposed to more and many of us are simply tired, working hard to provide and keep everything afloat, while still needing to show up and parent well.
Communication and discipline feels more complex and the gap feels wider than we expected.

We cannot ignore what is happening with our youth.
There has been a noticeable surge in bullying, emotional distress, and behavioural challenges, both in schools and online. At the same time, many parents are busier than ever, trying to provide and to keep up. The result is often a widening gap between parents and children. Parents and caregivers need support too.
Closing the Gap: Parents & Youth is a 5-day online course designed to help families reconnect, strengthen communication, understand the impact of stress and trauma, and rebuild trust and emotional safety.
If we want stronger youth, we need stronger conversations.
