There is a specific incident on which I would like to find information. The matter involves the kidnapping of some children in Georgetown, sometime between 1987 to March, 1989. If memory serves me correctly, a Guyana stores truck was involved.

Does Stabroek have archives dating back that far? If, yes, how would I gain access?
Came across this great page. If you love Guyanese sayings, check out Guyana Playing Cards. They have playing cards featuring classic Guyanese sayings. Great gift idea for Christmas! www.guyanaplayingcards.com
It truly is disappointing, when a news agency, by its reporters, can attempt to slander someone it is interviewing, for the sole purpose of damning them by putting words in, that were not there. Their power to change the view of persons can be so un-hesitantly used just for a graphic headline. The Crisis of COVID, sends so much fear throughout our country, and in this world, that when someone is trying to promote Love and Harmony among it's people, the emotion of FEAR is all they see... And ALL they can respond with.. When the reporter cannot remember how it feels to be positive amongst His/Her fears, how can they be impartial with their reporting??? These persons are responsible for some of the collective consciousness within our country, and if every time they use THIER Fear to report, they influence the people.. This is called propaganda, from where i see it. Change is happening, regardless of what we want, and these persons have the ability to shift minds to be more positive, not only for this generation of persons, but for the future generations to come. How can our children learn what it is to be in the presence of Love, and Honesty, when they have never been present to it?? How can we teach them these traits, when they look at this generation to teach them?? The Almond Tree Farmers Market, has never been about fighting against COVID. It is about Helping those who have nothing else. No Job, No help, but they have HOPE. If the reporters are not willing to give hope, and the persons who have the power don't have the answers, who will help them to survive?? Who will help them to find Peace, amongst FEAR? But this Question is for ALL of us.. If we are willing to follow ALL guidelines, and STILL be able to give HOPE, why don't we? Where Does our OWN Fear stop us from Being Honest about how we feel, and when are we going to start acting from that space as well.??
