One Nation Youth Movement

We are a group of young people who care about community development, youth empowerment, and social change. The organization was founded in January 2016 with the motto Teach, Achieve, Develop.

"Inspiring growth; yielding results" is our theme for 2023. We will be expanding our borders this year to reach more young people and communities through development programs, partnerships with corporate Guyana, and youth networks.

Members from the One Nation Youth Movement join other young people from Region 3 at a Training Workshop hosted by the Department of Youth - Guyana. This training seeks to train young people to offer Counselling to members within Youth groups.

My logo depicts all three of the departments within the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport.
The five young people represents each of the Five Colors of our National Flag and its meaning; although the colors are contrary from that of our flag, it clearly states that each one of us is different in our political views, educational capacities, personalities and traits but being different means, we still must work together in order achieve the common goal and that is One People, One Nation with One Destiny.
My logo shows that together as Youths we are the pillars for our Nation’s Development and we must strive to build a Clean and Green Guyana by the protection of our Forest and Eco Systems. This is highlighted by the symbolism of our flora at the front of our city buildings because we must ensure that all living thing is preserved.
I decided to add Music Notes, the Theatre Drama Symbol, Sports Equipment and a young lady that is dancing in Gold. This here represents our Cultures as Guyanese, growing performing Arts Industries and extractive mineral sectors such as Gold and Oil that will soon add value to our people throughout the Caribbean and Diaspora at large.
My blue background represents our three rivers and International waters where our new extractive sectors is situated and where our precious marine creatures resides.
The Golden lights at the top of the building depicts Guyana as a rich and prosperous Nation.
The Blue Crescent shaped represents our Nation’s Foundation that our Ancestors had build so that we can do better and continue to achieve as One People under God.
Youths are the nest generation, we are the new dawn so we need to work together to develop our country.
