Caratal Deliverance Assembly

On behalf of Pastor Theo Browne-Billy, of the Caratal Deliverance Assembly in Georgetown and the diaspora, we mourn the loss of a devoted woman of God, Deaconess Cordila Scott. It is a heavy burden, but it is often lightened by the deep faith and legacy that she leaves behind for us.

Proverbs 31:26 “She opens her mouth with wisdom, and the teaching of kindness is on her tongue.”

Today, we mourned a tower of strength of a woman, one who wears several caps. She served faithfully in her church and still finds time to join us during our online Bible study on Wednesday evenings.

Ms. Scott served as a district overseer for the women's group at her church. She was also an Evangelist. When it's time to pray, the Warrior inside of her take over (A PRAYER WARRIOR).

She had a soup kitchen that caters for children in her community during the summer break period of June to July when students are on vacation. Miss Scott served her community, her church and God well.

We honor the impactful life and the spiritual seeds she planted and know that it can provide profound comfort during this difficult transition.

Proverbs 31:31 says, “Honor her for all that her hands have done, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate.”

We remember her not just for her passing, but for the life she lived, the wisdom she shared, and her unwavering devotion to her faith

We rejoice because she gave us so much during her life with us and we praise God that her life of no pain, no concerns, no doubts, and no lack of understanding has begun.

“Therefore you now have sorrow; but I will see you again and your heart will rejoice, and your joy no one will take from you.” John 16:22

We did not just loose another church goer but one that was mighty, who did not allow challenges to take over. We will cry and we will mourn and we know that with God her soul will Rest in Eternal Peace.

On behalf of us here at the Caratal Deliverance Assembly we take this time to pause and gaze off in remembrance of the many great things or roles our mothers have partaken into our lives.

We reflect, we cry, we smile and we celebrate all mothers today on this special day.

"Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her."
Proverbs 31:28

You handled tears, tantrums, and big emotions (sometimes all at once) while trying to hold yourself together too.

That kind of strength is rarely seen but it's always felt.

Wishing you gentleness, rest, and a moment just for yourself today.

Today we honor all the mothers not only in our humble abode but the entire world who are mothers (in what ever shape or form God has granted unto you), for being strong, resilient and loving

To all the incredible women who nuture, support, and love unconditionally our mothers, grandmothers, aunts, sisters and all women who care for others with kindness and compassion. Thank you for being pillars of strength and spreading love.

On this mothers day we send love to those becoming mothers, those grieving their mothers, those parenting alone, those caring for others while caring for themselves, those raising children in non traditional families, those who mother without the title, those showing up as caregivers in every form and those breaking harmful cycles to build something better. We honor every form of motherhood visible and unseen, joyful and complex

So, on behalf of us here at the CDA we show gratitude to our dear Pastor Theo Browne-Billy, Lady Bascombe, our mothers in faith, both here with us and in the diaspora (as well as our online wednesday night bible study mothers) the love that is needed at all times but rarely being shown.

We love you all, we appreciate the many teachings, protections, sacrifices and discipline you have taught us, your children while we were growing and still growing.

Happy happy mothers day to each and everyone of you. We love you all, always.💕🙏🏾💕🙏🏾💕🙏🏾

She is recognized as a leader, prayer warrior, and a nurturing influence who models virtue, grace, and compassion. Celebrating her, means honoring her role in uplifting others and her deep commitment to walking in her divine calling. She speaks with wisdom, and her life is a testament to the fear of the LORD. Whether in leadership, ministry support, or her daily life, she acts as a "firebrand" who ignites faith in others.

On behalf of all the members of the Caratal Deliverance Assembly both here and in the diaspora we would love to extend our birthday wishes to our dear Pastor, Theo Browne. We stop and we take a moment just to give thanks to God for His grace of putting her in our paths on our Christian journey and to also celebrate our Pastor on her special today.

Proverbs 31:25, she is clothed in strength and dignity, facing the future without fear.

Happy happy Birthday 🎂 🥳 🎉 to you Pastor. We love every minute that God is giving to us eith you and we do appreciate all the things you have done in our life.

Vicky we have known you when you visit with your parents and sister but you are 1 of the sunshine that we have come to know. We love you also and we adore your vibrant spirit. As we are go into the New Year of 2025, let us trust truthfully in God and God alone. 2024 has leave us with scars, scorns, lots of loss, pain, betrayal, disappointments and more but this year of 2025 could be our season. Don't give up, don't let go. Let us take back everything the devil has taken from us, let us grow stronger and firmer in our fight. God has already gone before us to remove what we cannot handle and He makes no mistake. We are His soldiers and the sheep of His pastures.

Let us be thankful for the Journey that 2024 has given us and let His grace and mercies be with us all through this New Year.🙏🏾 Happy New Year everyone!!!

On behalf of Pastor Theo Browne and the members of the Caratal Deliverance Assembly we would like to send our deepest condolences to Bishop Davis's family on his passing. "To be absent in the body is to be present with the Lord". We pray that his family will take comfort from the Almighty God in this trial in their life and that God will strengthen and keep them while they are grieving and even after.
