GENERAL MEETING: Hello all, this is a reminder of a general meeting for EVERYONE who lives in Tuschen and interested persons from West Demerara this SUNDAY, November 22, at 5 p.m. at the Tuschen Primary School. We intend them to introduce a management committee and to invite you to lead and be part of various activities. Tuschen Developers aims to provide a range of services and activities for community members. These will include, but not be limited to (1) targeted physical and social activities for the elderly; (2) activities for children with special needs; (3) arts and culture; (4) employment and entrepreneurial guidance; (6) community maintenance and enhancement; (7) innovative employment generation projects; (8) assistance with public services (9) social guidance, addressing a range of social ills. We invite you to think of concrete suggestions for projects we can undertake and let us know about them. We look forward to seeing you! We need as many as possible to make this work. Please wear a mask.

DELAY: Hello all, the start of the training programme in furniture making has been delayed by the Board of Industrial Training. It should commence within two weeks but I will let you of the exact start date. Thank you all for your interest. I will have application forms to distribute from Tuesday, November 17. Hello all, this is the proposed design for a Culinary Training Facility in Tuschen. It is a project of the Board of Industrial Training. They are looking for 30 persons to train over the next six months starting on November 16.
