terms! I still love to bake; try new recipes, create recipes, share what I make and gain new clients. I might not be as busy as I was during covid, but that’s okay. I am working full time (overtime), I joined a dragon boat team in DC and in what little time i have left, i still bake up something new to keep up with my practice.

If you visit my website, you’ll see that most of the bakes I like to share are Greek. My theory is if you ask any number of random people to name a Greek dessert, the majority will say Baklava. I want to share with everyone that there is so much more to Greek desserts!! Along the way I am learning too. I also share my adventures through stories.  I still make it to Greece every summer;, and for many years now, each time I visit I take a side trip to a different island. There are so many, but each island has its own history and its own delicacy of sweets.  

My sweet teeth could enjoy Diples all day every day if I didn’t have to worry about my health.  Aside from Baklava are there any Greek desserts you could go back to all day everyday; minus the worry of what it does to our bodies? 

Antonios is a digital nomad, and he has been traveling around for years. Working in Azero for almost two years, he is finding new communities to get connected based in Europe and US. He is travelling almost since he was born, and he has learned a lot about what it means to be a Digital Nomad. He believes there is no right or wrong way to live the Digital Nomad lifestyle, there is just what works for you. Living in New York last 5 years he was able to dissect what he liked, what he didn’t and what he wanted to do differently moving forward. And most importantly, how to avoid future burnout.

Traveling all the time alone or with his family he tries to create routines where he can. He thinks that routine activities are done without active thought, thus giving you the mental space to put your energy and thoughts to other things. “Less routine lives require your attention all the time to make active decisions. The level of routine needed will depend on your personality, but ultimately routines make you more productive and require less mental expenditure on mundane tasks” he mentions .And he reasons that whether that is always packing your gear the same way, working the same schedule each week, or repeating travel destinations, these are certain things you can do to create a routine.

During his exploration in various cities, he has met tone of digital nomads at every stage. Those who are just getting started, those that have been on the road for 5+ years, and those that returned to location (in)dependence.

Antonios argues the longer you travel, the more you’ll come to realize how you like to travel. It may or may not look like what you thought or how you began your nomad journey. He recently decided to have a home base near family in Athens, Greece and only travel occasionally depending on business requirements. Up until he decides to relocate again and moves forward in a new adventure.

Mahsa was born in Tehran amidst the first Islamic revolution in the world and the longest war in the 20th century. Realising that circumstances in Iran were not beneficial for any free thinking person at the age of 16 she moved to Germany . In 2011 after years of living in different countries and continents, studying and working mostly at big corporates she decided to break away from the "system" and all its limitations for freedom lovers and started her boutique tour company in Spain at www.notjustatourist.com. In the same year she started traveling around the globe on a motorbike. In 2013 she found out that she could work remotely and became a digital nomad. Mahsa has been to 108 countries so far, 69 of them by motorcycle and as a solo female biker. She speaks more than 5 languages, has a couple of master degrees and has received several best company awards. More than anything she has unlimited love for people and considers happiness, responsibility, respect and freedom as core values in life.
