The OFFICIAL BARE INFINITY page This is the official page for the Greek symphonic/power metal band BARE INFINITY.

Formed by Thomas in Athens , the band started off as being one of the very first , if not the First Female fronted metal band in Greece . In the absence of a music scene at the time , Bare Infinitys regulary played shows around Greece usually together with bands of more extreme genres that dominated the Greek scene at the time. In on of the weirdest facts about the band , Bare Infinity has played

So .. when should a band celebrate its anniversary?

Is it the day the band got its name?
Our very first rehearsal?
Our first live show?
Our first release?

However you choose to count it, one thing is certain... we're long overdue an anniversary celebration!

Since we never really had the chance to celebrate all these years properly, we want to make the next one something truly special. Not only will it mark another milestone for Bare Infinity, but it will also celebrate the release of our long-awaited new album.

And we'd love to celebrate it with as many of you as possible.

So tell us...

Where are you from and ( if ? ;) ) there were an Anniversary & album release Tour, where would you us to come ? :)

No distance limits , all options are open ;)

Hey everyone!

First of all, Id like to apologize for the lack of updates recently however it's been a very busy period behind the scenes, but we're happy to say that recordings are going really well and as Ida's vocal recordings have concluded , the rest of the instrument recordings will continue throughout August as we work hard to make this album everything it deserves to be.

A huge thank you to everyone who has sent us messages checking in on the album and for all your continued patience and support.

It truly means a lot to us, and we can't wait to start sharing more with you as we get closer to the finish line.

Thank you for being with us on this journey.

-Tomas

Dear Friends ,

We will be suspending for the time being all sales of CD's through our website as it has been brought to our attention that a large number of orders have not been fullfield in the passed months.
This is an issue of our delivery partner that manages the packaging and posting of all orders from our website.

In order to ensure that all orders going forward can be fullfield fast , as well as support the extended merch items we are preparing for later this year , we will not be accepting any further orders until we have migrated our store to our new fullfilment partner.

Any orders that have not been fullfield will be refunded soon.

Thank you for your patience

Yesterday we wrapped up the vocal recordings for our new album.

We chose to close this chapter with the recording of “Thalassa” , which means “The Sea” in Greek.

This track carries a powerful meaning for us. It’s a tribute to Greece, a country defined by its breathtaking seas, but also a dedication to all the sailors and naval officers , from ancient times and present , who have called the sea their home, respecting her strength, her beauty, and her ways .

But , “Thalassa” isn’t just Greek in title. A large part of the song is performed in Greek by Ida Elena DeRazza , who completely blew us away. She embraced the language with incredible dedication, mastering the lyrics and delivering them with precision, emotion, and deep respect.

You can get a glimpse of that in this short teaser , a moment from the recordings where Ida sings a single word that means so much: Thalassa.

It’s hard to believe that “The Butterfly Raiser” was released this month, 9 years ago.

Plans for the follow-up album were already in motion, with a release originally set for early 2020. But like so many things that year, everything was suddenly completely derailed.

Over the years that followed, a lot changed. The songs changed with us , evolving, being rearranged, and in some cases completely rewritten from scratch.

But it wasn’t just the music.

Life brought difficult moments and profound personal losses that have been difficult to face and overcome even to this day , making it hard to move forward or even create at all. It became an ongoing battle , one that in many ways, still continues.

But despite everything, the journey of Bare Infinity moves forward.

In the coming weeks, Ida and I will be entering the studio in Athens to record vocals and finally bring this album into its final phase , leading to a release later this year.

In the weeks leading up to the recordings, I’ll be sharing more with you , including the tracklist and the story behind each song.

This album is a fusion of new material, songs originally written during “The Butterfly Raiser” era, and even a few ideas that go as far back as “Always Forever” , all reworked and brought together to tell a story that spans over 20 years, yet feels more relevant than ever today.

To everyone who has supported Bare Infinity through the years , thank you. Truly!

The wait has been long… but it’s time.

And it will be worth it.
