Playful art, combining movement, engineering, and sound...
'Colors in motion' was first presented in August 2025. A permanent art installation at the main yard of Kokkedal Skole, Fredensborg, Denmark.
Months later, it continues to generate new visual states -
an ever-changing interplay of color, rhythm and perception.
Nothing repeats. The experience is always different!
A series of multicolored rectangular pillars are mounted on the hill of the schoolyard. Each pillar is painted in different colors on each side, creating a dynamic visual effect as one moves around them.
The pillars can spin on their axis, by hand, inviting for creative play, where children can experiment with unexpected arrangement transformations...
Commissioned and funded by Fredensborg municipality.
A bit of Easter meditative vibes ✨ with my “Healing Frequencies” mobile (2025)... from last September at Teatersalen, Metropolis Festival, Copenhagen, Denmark. Part of the ‘Forests tales of repair’ by choreographer .
Aluminium rods, wood, fishing line, motor, programming.
Dimensions: 220 x 150 x 150 cm.

Within Sara Gebran’s multidisciplinary project Forests’ tales of repair, the Healing Frequencies Mobile contributes a gentle soundscape of clear and prolonged tones. As the suspended aluminum rods sway and strike each other, they release shimmering tones across a range of frequencies, resonating with harmonics that echo the ancient solfeggio scale.
🎧🌧️A few years ago, in 2022, the 'Rain–Waterfall Machine' was part of my solo exhibition Nature Symphony at Møstings Hus, Copenhagen, Denmark.
Since then, a large part of my practice has evolved around sound-kinetic sculptures that mimic natural phenomena with low-tech mechanisms...
Currently, an evolution of this work, Water Babblings (2026), is on view at — see previous post!
