We are still reeling from the impressions from the Final Conference of the JA ImpleMENTAL project! It was informative, positive, and quite intense. Still, we are delighted that we all got together and celebrated the great success of participating countries in implementing two best practices, as well as the near end of our project in the best possible way. 🎉
Many thanks to all participants - both in Athens and online! We look forward to meeting and cooperating again! 💚💙🍀

The final day of the JA ImpleMENTAL conference was a powerful showcase of progress in su***de prevention across 17 countries. 🌍
Highlights included national updates from Malta, Cyprus, Sweden, and Estonia, each sharing their strides in developing comprehensive strategies. Parallel sessions covered mental health care innovations, crisis services, and successful media campaigns from Iceland, Norway, and Czechia.
Discussions emphasized the importance of collaboration and the impact of collective efforts on mental health. Vasileia Konte and Corinne Salinas praised the project's achievements and the dedication of all participants, while Professor Stylianos Orfanos celebrated the teamwork involved. The day concluded with a focus on sustainability and future strategies, underscoring the critical role of synergy in advancing mental health care. 💪

As our Final Conference draws to a close, our participants and esteemed guests shared their impressions about the event and reflected on our project as a whole and everything achieved. 🤝🍀

We are concluding our Final Conference with a comprehensive approach to the SUPRA best practice. 👥
Day three is dedicated to su***de prevention, with 17 countries presenting their progress throughout the project, along with the next steps. We will also discuss the importance of public awareness, as well as the role of the media, emphasizing collaboration and the revision of media guidelines.📝📹
As the day comes to a close, we will reflect on the implementation process thus far and explore ways to ensure the continuity and sustainability of our achievements. 🌐

Day 2 of the JA ImpleMENTAL Final Conference featured insightful discussions on enhancing mental health services across Europe. 🌍

We are continuing with the second day of our final conference in Athens 🏛️🇬🇷
Our keynote speakers, Bernard Jacob and Sarah Morsink, representatives of FPS Public Health Belgium, have provided us with a unique opportunity to explore the inspiration behind the Belgian best practice and reflect on both where we are now and how far we have come. 🇧🇪
Today's presentations will showcase how JA ImpleMENTAL has contributed to mental health improvements across 11 European countries. We will also discuss the lessons learned throughout this process.
Additionally, parallel sessions will demonstrate how various countries have transformed and adapted existing mental health services. These sessions will showcase the enhancements made by focusing on multidisciplinary approaches and ensuring that services are evidence-based, efficient, and sustainable.

The JA ImpleMENTAL Final Conference has officially kicked off today in Athens, Greece! 🇬🇷🎉
Vasileia Konte and Danijela Štimac Grbić opened the event, celebrating the progress made over the past three years.
➡Key speakers like Marina Zanchi from HaDEA and Stefan Schreck from DG SANTE praised the participating countries for their achievements and emphasized the importance of continued collaboration. Eirini Agapidaki, Alternate Minister of Health, emphasized the importance of addressing mental health issues for vulnerable groups across Europe. Deputy Minister Dimitrios Vartzopoulos highlighted Greece’s achievements and the need to include individuals with mental health challenges and their families in future efforts. Christos Hadjichristodoulou, President of NPHO, inspired participants for the next three days, while Natasha Azzopardi Muscat from WHO stressed the importance of collaboration among all stakeholders.
