49 meters above sea level the Europa Point lighthouse is the only Trinity operated lighthouse outside the British Isles.

First lit in 1841 and automated in 1994 it has a range of approximately 33km and has helped many ships avoid crashing into the rock. It's bulb becomes LED in 2016.

In llanito it is known affectionately as "la farola" or Victoria tower.
