We are currently helping two men in need — one is a cancer patient who has just been given a home and is starting from scratch, and the other is a service user who also needs essential household items.

We are looking for the following donations:
• 2 fridges
• 1 oven
• 1 hob
• 2 washing machines
• 1 double bed
• 1 fan
• 1 bedside table
• 1 microwave

If anyone has any of these items in good, working condition and would be willing to donate, we would be incredibly grateful 🙏

Saturday and Sunday our amazing team worked incredibly hard at our car boot sale and the Generous Hearts charity car boot sale.

To the general public, thank you so much for your support and for buying from us. Your support through our car boot sales enables and supports men to get back on their feet, and we are truly grateful.

Men in Need Joins Minister for Justice, Trade and Industry on Visit to HM Prison

Men in Need today joined the Minister for Justice, Trade and Industry, Nigel Feetham KC MP, on an official visit to HM Prison, highlighting the importance of rehabilitation, education, and wellbeing support for men within the custodial system.

The visit provided an opportunity for the Minister and Men In Need charity to meet with prison staff, education providers, and third-sector partners working collaboratively to support inmates’ personal development and reintegration into society. Men in Need outlined its role in providing emotional support, mentoring, and practical guidance to men facing complex personal challenges.

The founder and chairperson for Men in Need said: “Our work within HM Prison focuses on dignity, accountability, and personal growth. We are proud to collaborate with the prison service and government to ensure men have access to the support they need to move forward in a positive and constructive way.”

Men in Need will continue its regular engagement at HM Prison, providing ongoing support and working closely with prison staff and partner organisations to strengthen rehabilitation pathways.

I would like to sincerely thank the Integral Yoga Centre and all the amazing volunteers who supported Men In Need and the Happy Vibes Support Group at their Flag Day yesterday.

When people give the most precious thing they have — their time — to help, support, and raise awareness, it reminds us of the goodness that still exists in the world.

Acts of kindness like these are what true love and compassion look like. We are deeply grateful to be surrounded by such inspiring souls 💙🙏
