A Farewell from GibAPP - Closing down Beginning April 2022

As already previously announced, GibAPP will be shutting down for good beginning of April and will stop working as from this date.

GibAPPs ethos of providing a Portal for all things Gibraltar free of charge has remained for many years and whilst we have tried to sustain the APP for as long as we could, the reality is that the costs associated for running it can no longer be maintained.

It is with sadness we bid farewell to all of our 15,000 users we have online and wish to thank you all for the support for the past 6 years. I hope the utilities and tooling in the APP has assisted many in our community as well as those visitors coming to Gibraltar.

GibApp will be shutting its doors soon. After over 6 years servicing Gibraltar with a completely Free utility APP(the portal for all things Gibraltar), it is now time to close it down.

Maintaining and running an application of this nature, costs time and money and whilst we have maintained and paid for this over the years we took the decision some time back to close down as it would no longer be sustainable to keep these costs up.

We were given a breathing space last year after World Trade Centre and Ocean Village agreed to become our sole sponsor for 2020-2021, which we are grateful for. This allowed us to run the APP at no cost to the developer barring maintanance and time.

However, unless we are able to secure a new sole sponsor willing to assist for 2022, it is with sadness that we will have to close GibAPP in the coming weeks.

To our over 15,000 users currently using GibAPP we thank you for your support.
