Every year on April 22nd, #EarthDay is observed by more than a billion people across the globe. This day is dedicated to environmental awareness, engagement, and action. The year 2020 marks the 50th anniversary of Earth Day celebrations. The theme for Earth Day 2020 is ‘Climate Action’, which is meant to be a personal reflection for mankind on the steps being taken to make our planet a better place for future generations.

This Earth Day, we urge you to join us in planting a tree at home. All actions, big and small, have the potential to change our lives and change our world for the better, not just for one day, but forever. #earthday2020 #stayhome #plantatree #sdgs #climatechange #climateaction

Hey there 👋🏾! Kakum National park is the best-protected forest in Ghana. Besides scenic views, it features wildlife from small to large. Next to squirrels and butterflies, the jungle is also home to one of the big five. Can you guess which one? Hint: It is the world’s largest existing land mammal.

As much as the world follows Italy into a strict lockdown, our thoughts and hearts reach out to you wherever you might be. We can face this storm together and emerge with a new sense of strength, love and purpose. Fam. Meister Ps: At the moment we are rebuilding the wooden balconies, with time and care. Do you like them?

We pride ourselves in our cocoa production. In 1870 Tetteh Quarshie introduced the cocoa crops to Ghana (a pre-independence Ghanaian) which today constitutes one of the major export crops of the Ghanaian economy.
As a result of our mass production, millions of people around the world enjoy cocoa products and has become a source of income and livelihood for a lot of people.
Let’s take you on a tour to the Tetteh Quarshie Cocoa farm where it all began for Ghana, there’s more to see and learn🤩🤩🤩

Black - Representing us, The black citizens

Green - Ghana’s extensive vegetation
I’m so obsessed with my country’s flag colors and our anthem.... There’s this spirit it carries, you’ll only understand if you truly understand the colors of #ghanaflag and the depth of the anthem.

I know people who have tears in their eyes anytime our anthem is played especially during football matches or national events.. I love my #countryflag
You can spot it at several places in town .
I’ve got 2 tourists who have told me how they love the fact that the Ghana 🇬🇭 flag can be spotted almost at every vantage points in the capital.

Do you love yours ?
Do you know the meaning of the colours in your flag?

If yes, tell us about it ....

“I haven’t been everywhere, but it’s on my list.” ― Susan Sontag

Due to their deep love for travel, such people find the most affordable way to travel and still indulge in the fun they crave. They discover the nook and cranny of every place that even a native might never know. Let us call these people your travel informants.

“The path of the wanderlust is yearned by many but very few have the courage to tread it.”

Knowing a bit more about a place before visiting can save you a lot of stress. You will know what to expect, the amount of money and time you will need to explore the corners of the place you are visiting. Though spontaneity may sound adventurous and exciting, it is always best to go prepared. Having travel informants is important since they would provide you with all the relevant travel information: Accommodation expenses, food, transportation, best hangouts and “must see”.

TRAVEL MEMOIR GH is looking at assisting people who wish to travel round Ghana and Togo by providing the information needed about vacation spots, restaurants, hotels, galleries and pubs. In time, we will also provide these services internationally.

TRAVEL MEMOIR GH will also share with you the history of the town and cities; the culture of the people and how to enjoy your time in the places we would be recommending. So let give you the best tips on how to enjoy your vacation.
