Wacam is a premier community based human rights and environmental mining advocacy NGO in Ghana with a community-based focus.
Formed in 1998, Wacam has worked to respond to the problems that had resulted from the increase mining investment of the gold rush WACAM is a non-governmental organization (NGO) in Western Ghana that was formed in 1998. Our primary aim is to aid communities that are adversely affected by gold mining in mobilizing around their concerns.
