Chairman Apostle Eric Nyamekye of The Church of Pentecost once made a profound statement: “The greatest gift and asset you have as a young person is your youthfulness.” This truth carries deep significance—youth is not just a phase of life but a divine gift, brimming with energy, potential, and opportunity.

It is in this vibrant season that life presents you with one of its most important questions: Why am I here? Youth is not meant to be wasted; it is a season of discovery, growth, and preparation for the great assignment God has placed on your life. This aligns perfectly with our theme for the year: “Unleashed to live a life worthy of your calling.”

To be unleashed means to break free from limitations, to rise above distractions, and to walk boldly in the purpose for which you were created. Your calling is not something to be figured out later in life—it begins now. Every decision, every opportunity, and every challenge in your youth is shaping the person you are becoming.

In my book, A CHARGE TO KEEP I HAVE, I emphasize that discovering and fulfilling your God-given assignment is the highest pursuit of life. Your youthful years are the foundation upon which your future is built. Hence, this is the time to seek God earnestly, develop your gifts, and make an impact that will last beyond your years.

So I challenge you today: Don’t let your youthfulness slip away without purpose. Use this season wisely. Ask yourself daily: Am I living a life worthy of my calling?

In my book 📚 "A Charge to Keep I Have", we see that life is not just about personal ambition or mere survival; it is a responsibility given by the Creator. We are called to something greater—a purpose that extends beyond ourselves. To ignore this calling is to reduce life to an aimless pursuit, missing the very reason we were placed on this earth.

The Church of Pentecost's theme for the year, "Unleashed to Live a Life Worthy of Your Calling," is a powerful reminder that purpose is not an option but a divine charge. To be unleashed means to break free from distractions, self-centered pursuits, and complacency, stepping fully into the higher purpose for which we were created. It is a call to live intentionally, to serve, and to leave a lasting impact.

We are not here to simply take up space or chase fleeting pleasures. We are here to contribute, to uplift, and to reflect God’s design through meaningful and selfless living. The real question is: Are you embracing your divine design, or merely drifting through life?
