A group of African youth both on the continent and in diaspora promoting and championing the philosophies of Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah. Aim-As-Nkrumah was borne out of a passion driven by desire to see the unification of Africa, otherwise the African Union being a reality whereby the people of Africa everywhere will feel it happening, only waiting to see with their eyes the dismantling of all physical borders to liberate the people of Africa.

Legacies
Africa must Unite ! The legacy continues. #Nkrumah #martinlutherkingjr #MalcomeX
1st July, 1960 exactly 60 years ago Ghana became a republic country and #Ogyefo Nkrumah the 1st president. He thereafter ruled for six years before he was overthrown in a joint military police coup detat on the 24th of February, 1966. #Ogyefo Nkrumah was voted as BBC African Personality of the Millennium and has been the perfect man for African youth to aim as in fulfillment of the prophecy of Right Honorable Marcus Garvey.......... One Aim (Aim-As-Nkrumah)
I and I celebrate Marcus Garvey cos he never lived in vain.
The Black skin is not a badge of shame, but rather a glorious symbol of national greatness.
Marcus Garvey
Gamal Nkrumah, son of Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah writes:
Murder of George Floyd! GAMAL NKRUMAH writes:
To understand George Floyd's macabre murder and its aftermath once again forces us to ask ourselves two questions that many Americans still don't want to answer. Who systematically exterminated Native Indians? Who captured Blacks in Africa, transported by ships and enslaved on the new continent? For the Europeans the answer is simple: The Europeans who settled in North America committed cruel acts and exterminated the indigenous peoples. Africans were spared only because they served as an enslaved workforce.
The violence of capitalism (which we are still trying to change today) was already at work during colonial America. The first encounter on the new continent was marked by one word: cruelty! The culture of the Indigenous people has been totally eradicated, and socially evaluating two hundred years of abuse is a painful exercise that exists in the heart of every Indigenous and African American.
Fortunately, there are no longer any historical controversies regarding the intentions of the first European settlers: they entrusted the production system of the new lands totally to the resistant capacity and physical strength of enslaved Africans. On the other hand, however, African Americans began to write their history by facing new challenges with heroism and resilience.
Triumph and tragedy of the United States, rights and unspeakable abuses, have gone hand in hand in the last centuries of American history. Slavery had existed since time immemorial, in the West as well as in the East, however, the notion of modern slavery arose in the United States. The redemption of American slaves, the struggle for civil rights, were supposed to clean up centuries of degradation and deprivation, which is why Martin Luther King, Malcolm X and eventually the First African American President of the United States, Barack Obama, emerged. Yet Obama was not technically an African American although symbolically perhaps he was much more. He was the son of a continental African man and a white European woman. On the one hand he finally united African Americans and liberal progressives, and he immediately became acceptable to the racist white elites of the United States. After all, Americans of European descent have always been accommodating to Africans of born in Africa. I wanted to analyse these aspects of the story so that we can better understand President Trump's recent Tweet which glorifies the use of violence against black people in Minneapolis. A gesture that beyond his political judgment, reminds us that America is still deeply divided. Precisely, the burning Minneapolis and the charred buildings remind all Americans that they have not radically changed since the dark night of slavery. The nightmare always remains alive today as then and today as then they are called to deal with their history. A story that in some ways becomes ours too.

Africa Unite!
Ghana’s first president, Kwame Nkrumah delivered a speech at the founding of the Organization of African Unity. It has since become a memorable and iconic speech. In front of 31 other African heads of state who met in the Ethiopian capital, Addis Ababa, on 24 May 1963, Nkrumah appealed, cajoled, and did everything in perhaps his greatest speech ever to convince his colleagues to create a strong continental union. Today as we make 57 years of the formation of OAU, Kwame Nkrumah speech still echoes across the African continent and African Diaspora.

#Cannabistar Ras Okro is grateful to Nana - Ghana and his ruling party for legalizing cannabis for medicinal and industrial purposes. Wee however just like Oliver Twist ask for more and implore the government to also consider the recreational and sacramental usage as well. Cannabis he said is mostly used by actors, musicians and celebrities across the globe as most claim it enhance performance and inspire them to greatness. Spiritual people, herbalist and some anointed men of God also use it in curing strange disease like asthma, glaucoma, bronchitis, covid 19 and sometimes beautiful madness.
GHANA HAS JOINED THE OTHER AFRICAN COUNTRIES TO LEGALIZED CANNABIS FOR HEALTH AND INDUSTRIAL PURPOSES .
Ghana has legalized the use of cannabis for health and industrial purposes as it joins other African countries hoping to derive economic and health benefits from the substance.
On Friday the country’s Parliament passed into law the Narcotics Control Commission Bill, 2019.
The law now makes the country’s Narcotics Control Board (NACOB) a Commission with enhanced powers to oversee the industrial use of some narcotic substances.
The Commission however will have the mandate to control and eliminate the trafficking of prohibited narcotic drugs to ensure public safety.
Health experts have always campaigned for addicts of narcotic drugs to be properly rehabilitated and not treated as criminals.
The new law makes provision for that as well now classifying drug abuse a public health issue.
With the legalization of Cannabis for industrial and health purposes, Ghana joins countries like Malawi, Zimbabwe and South Africa who are changing their laws on narcotics.
Ghana’s new laws will make room for cannabis to be used to make medicines and h**p fibres.
H**p fibres are used to make clothes, biofuel, paper and other products.
Ghana is hoping to rake in some revenue as well when industrial production of cannabis begins.
In Ghana there is already the H**p Association of Ghana (HAG) which has signed a deal with a Ghanaian-owned Cannabis business operator based in Portugal.
The deal will gross a staggering $ 56 million in five years from merely cultivating and exporting industrial h**p from a land size approximating 100 acres.
It will rake in around $2.8 million per harvest of HAG’s industrial h**p on the planned 100 acres.
Taxes to the Ghanaian government could gross over $ 10 million from just 100 acres of industrial h**p if the authorities evaluate the industrial potential of the plant taking the world by storm currently.
President of the H**p Association of Ghana Nana Kwaku Agyemang told Africa Feeds that “We seem to get lost in this issue of getting high, and all we can talk about as Ghanaians is smoking.
As President of the H**p association of Ghana, we are not promoting smoking, we are promoting industry, we are promoting cleaning up the environment, we are promoting creating a new revenue stream for government in terms of taxing from cultivation and export and we are taking about promoting medicines that are far better than opioids, medicines that cannot kill you because no one has died from taking cannabis.”
Cannabis Sativa is used for over 50,000 industrial uses, including being used as a cheaper alternative to cotton, paper car dashboards, and building houses and for medicinal purposes.
The Global Cannabis market is estimated currently at over US$ 100 billion and estimate for the next five years peg the market size at a staggering $ 300 billion.
