The PLO Lumumba Foundation, Ghana Chapter. embarked on a donation exercise today
at the Potter's Village Orphanage Home, Dodowa, Greater Accra Region.
The purpose of the exercise was to support the livelihood of the orphans with food items and other materials for their upkeep and sustenance in this festive period.
Also, the Foundation used the opportunity to interact with the children by encouraged them to feel proud of being African as well as educated them on the Pan African ideals and principles needed in nurturing their potentials as servant leaders.
The Foundation adopted two orphans as mentees who will be mentored and nurtured by experienced mentors of the Foundation.

2. *Prof. Patrick Loch Otieno (PLO) Lumumba* is a Professor of Public Law, a holder of an LLD on the Law of the Sea from the University of Ghent, Belgium, LLM degree and LLB degree from the University of Nairobi. He has been trained on Humans Rights at the Institute of Advanced Legal Studies University of London, UK, Humanitarian Law at the Raoul Wallenberg Institute of the University of Lund, Sweden and on International Humanitarian Law in Geneva, Switzerland. He also holds Degree of Doctor of Letters (Honoris Causa) from the University of Cape Coast in Ghana.
He is an Advocate of the High Courts of Kenya and Tanganyika and a Certified Mediator. He is a former Director of the defunct Kenya Anti-Corruption Commission (KACC), (Now Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC)). He is the Founding Trustee of the African Institute for Leaders and Leadership (AILL).
He currently practices Law with Lumumba and Lumumba Advocates and coordinates activities under the aegis of the PLO Lumumba Foundation to which he is the founder.
The PLO Lumumba Foundation is a Non Governmental Organization established in 1991, and has chapters (branches) in 38 different African countries and representatives in the diaspora. The Foundation among other things, seeks to nurture young Africans into servant leadership and to feel proud of being African in view of contributing to the Africa we want. The Foundation has the PLO Lumumba School and Center, engages in book donation, provide support to needy but brilliant students, embarks on medical care and outreach, organizes excellence awards to deserving young people, and mentor young Africans under the prestigious PLO Africa Mentorship Program.
Prof. PLO Lumumba is a mentor and inspiring figure to many young people in Africa and beyond. As a staunch Pan Africanist, he has spent the last ten years traveling across Africa advocating for Africa's unity and development.
Patrick was named after an African hero (Patrice Emerile Lumumba), and it seems his destiny was already set in stone as a young boy. Regarding his name, Lumumba had this to say in an interview, "Patrick Loch Otieno Lumumba is my name. Remember Patrice Emerile Lumumba was an active pan-Africanist who died in 1961 and I was born a year later."

1. Dr. Arikana Chihombori-Quao is a medical doctor and activist. She is a public speaker, educator, diplomat, founder of medical clinics, and an entrepreneur. She moved to the United States after living many years in Zimbabwe.
She is the CEO and founder of Bell Family Medical Centers in the United States, as well as the founder of African Diaspora Initiative (ADI) . She was the African Union representative to the US. She was appointed in 2017. On October 7, 2019 she received notice that she was no longer "Permanent Ambassador" in a letter from the African Union Commission Chairman, Moussa Faki.
She holds a bachelor's degree in General Chemistry, a master's degree in organic chemistry, and a Doctor of Medicine degree. Chihombori was a family medicine specialist in Tennessee. She practiced medicine for 29 years in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
Chihombori is outspoken about the implications of the Berlin Conference that took place in Berlin, Germany, in 1885. She lectures about the outcome of the divisions on the continent of Africa that were made. She sees these divisions as a cause of some of Africa's problems that are still in effect today. She seeks to reunite African states, and Africans in the Diaspora.
In January 2019, Chihombori-Quao launched the "Wakanda One Village Project". The project will begin in Zambia and in Zimbabwe. Both of these countries have made offers of land. The Wakanda project seeks to engage Africans in the Diaspora.
The "Wakanda One Village Project", is slated to consist of five African Centers of excellence in the five regions on the continent of Africa. The five centers are to be centers of development to have state-of-the-art healthcare facilities, hotels, industrial homes, shopping centers, etc.

The PLO Lumumba Foundation, Ghana Chapter organized a capacity building workshop for its regional leaders across the ten (provinces) regions of Ghana, on Saturday 12th October, 2019, at GIMPA, Greenhill Campus, Achimota.
The workshop among other things was organized to build the capacity of the leaders on the thematic areas of the Foundation, which are: Pan Africanism, Anti -Corruption and Mentorship.
The facilitators were:
1. Ambassador William Awinador-Kanyirige (Ghana's former ambassador to Ethiopia, Nigeria and permanent representative to AU and ECOWAS).
2. Mr. Wasiu Yusuf (Head of Ethics and Compliance, Airteltigo and former auditor of Audit Service, KPMG, Scancom Ghana alias MTN)
3. Mr. Christian Cédric Elongue (Head of Knowledge Management, WASCI).
Participants were charged to leverage on knowledge and information by ambassador Awinador-Kanyirige in the quest of contributing our quota to Africa's development.

DONATION AT THE POTTER'S VILLAGE ORPHANAGE
The PLO Lumumba Foundation, Ghana Chapter embarked on a donation exercise at the Potter's Village Orphanage, Dodowa, on Saturday, the 19th of December, 2020.
The Foundation led by its leadership donated items including bags of rice, gallons of cooking oil, a box of soap and other toiletries, packs of tomato paste, and bags of sachet water. The items were received by Madam Jane on behalf of the Orphanage home, and expressed their profound appreciation to the PLO Lumumba Foundation, Ghana Chapter for choosing the Potter's Village Orphanage.
The Foundation as parts of it's mentorship program adopted two orphans as mentees. The mentees of the Foundation will be nurtured, coached and mentored with Pan African ideals needed in developing their potentials as servant leaders.
The Foundation is grateful to the donation team and to its members who donated cash and other materials to support the donation exercise. You will surely reap whatever you sowed in the hearts of the orphans.
