🇬🇭 today joined the European Union in Ghana and the European Business Organization in Ghana - EBO-Ghana, the African Union and other groups at its high- level pre-launch meeting of EU-African Union ‘Agri-food Platform’ for Ghana.

The EU Ambassador to Ghana, H.E. Ms. Diana Acconcia said the "platform is a place to network, discuss and exchange ideas.

She encouraged businesses in Ghana to join the platform to discuss investment opportunities, access to EU markets, partnership with farmers’ organizations, innovative financial instruments."

One of the questions asked at the meeting today was, can Ghanaian AGRIFOOD sector grab the opportunities offered by , growing demand in Africa and free access to EU markets?

Member of West Africa Competitiveness Programme - Ghana Mango Value Chain Strategic Committee, Mr. Davis Korboe was part of the programme.

He spoke on the theme "Strategic partnership with farmers’ organizations and rural youth: how to empower farmers and rural youth along the value chains and integrate them into the agribusiness platform’.
