World Vision Ghana held a farewell ceremony last Thursday in honor of the outgoing Board Chair, Mrs. Efua Ghartey and Board Member, Late Rev. Mr. Erasmus Odonkor.
Mrs. Efua Ghartey served on the Board of World Vision Ghana for nine years and will be remembered in the history of World Vision for her exemplary leadership, dedication and commitment to the wellbeing of the most vulnerable children.
The late Rev. Mr. Erasmus Odonkor on the other hand was described by board members as an embodiment of wisdom who diligently served to bring hope to the most vulnerable children.
Dignitaries from Vision fund and Shared Services both subsidiaries of World Vision Ghana graced the ceremony.

Husina, the adjudged best player from Savelugu School for the deaf asserted'' Because of our disability, nobody wants to play with us but World Vision gave us the opportunity to participate in the game and I believe that my dream of becoming a footballer in future will be a reality.
The Municipal Chief Executive, Madam Ayisha and other District Assembly members graced the occasion. In a speech, she stressed on the need to enforce bye-laws to serve as deterrent to irresponsible persons in our societies and commended @WorldVisionGH's effort over the years in protecting the rights of children.
