World Vision Ghana partnered with Obaapa Development Foundation to build the capacity of Queen Mothers across Ghana at a two day forum in the Volta Region. Other partners such as Hon. Dzifa Gomashie and representatives of NGOs were present to push the dialogue on ending child marriage and all forms of violence against children. #EndChildMarriage

World Vision Ghana brought together partners, community leaders and religious leaders at an End Child Marriage Campaign launch in Wa West and Agotime-Ziope districts. The forum sought to to mobilize major stakeholders and solicit their support for joint actions tailored at ending child marriage and all forms of violence against children in the districts. World Vision Ghana held a breakfast meeting with partners and stakeholders in the #WASH sector to discuss the way forward in achieving safe drinking water and improved sanitation. The Minister of Sanitation and Water resources gave a statement in which she emphasized the government's commitment to ensuring safe drinking water and improved sanitation.

World Vision Ghana launched the 3rd Edition of the School Sanitation Solution Challenge at Sunlodge Hotel on 30th March,2022. The challenge is part of World Vision's resolve to involve children in decision making. We look forward to receiving proposals from children all over Ghana for this year's contest.

World Vision Ghana held a farewell ceremony last Thursday in honor of the outgoing Board Chair, Mrs. Efua Ghartey and Board Member, Late Rev. Mr. Erasmus Odonkor.
Mrs. Efua Ghartey served on the Board of World Vision Ghana for nine years and will be remembered in the history of World Vision for her exemplary leadership, dedication and commitment to the wellbeing of the most vulnerable children.
The late Rev. Mr. Erasmus Odonkor on the other hand was described by board members as an embodiment of wisdom who diligently served to bring hope to the most vulnerable children.
Dignitaries from Vision fund and Shared Services both subsidiaries of World Vision Ghana graced the ceremony.

The boreholes are intended to serve over 310 Women, 280 men, 200 girls and 170 boys people in the Longo and Adeo communities

Ghana High-level Multisectoral Stakeholder Engagement Seeks to Mobilize Political Commitment for the Neglected Tropical Diseases Sustainability Agenda The Ghana Neglected Tropical Diseases Program (NTDP) under the Ghana Health Service (GHS), together with the NTD Ambassador Rev. Dr. Joyce Aryee, joined forces to mobilize national political and financial commitment for sustainable NTD interventions in alignment with the Ghana Beyond Aid agenda.

#Groundwater is a vital resource that provides almost half of all drinking water worldwide and helps to sustain ecosystems, maintain the baseflow of rivers and prevents land subsidence and seawater intrusion.
World Vision chalked achievements in providing an average of 3.86 million and 1,824 schools per year over the past five years with access to clean water.

World Vison Ghana has launched a campaign to #EndViolenceAgainstChildren to promote social inclusion and human transformation in the Savelugu Municipality. The campaign featured activities such as a soccer contest with participants comprising 410 girls and 140 boys from the Savelugu School for the deaf and other schools within the communities as way to integrate both the disabled and non-disabled to foster social inclusion and a health card registration exercise for over 1,500 children UNESCO UNICEF Ghana Health Service
Husina, the adjudged best player from Savelugu School for the deaf asserted'' Because of our disability, nobody wants to play with us but World Vision gave us the opportunity to participate in the game and I believe that my dream of becoming a footballer in future will be a reality.
The Municipal Chief Executive, Madam Ayisha and other District Assembly members graced the occasion. In a speech, she stressed on the need to enforce bye-laws to serve as deterrent to irresponsible persons in our societies and commended @WorldVisionGH's effort over the years in protecting the rights of children.
