Dear all,
Eduaction for Future Generation Foundation has over the years organised a Christmas party for it's children's club and the less privileged children living in and around it's locality.
This year however, our foundation has been greatly hit by the pandemic and by the demolition of part of our training centre to pave way for roads in our community and all our funds have been used to repair damages.

For the past 9 years, we have been able to sponsor this activity which is most cherished by these children through internal generated funds. But this year, we fear not being able to accomplish this goal due to lack of funds.

Kindly note that this activity means a lot to these kids and we hate to disappoint them. This is why we are calling on anyone who loves children and believes in our vision to donate a small token towards this project.
The foundation together with all the children will sincerely be grateful to you for this kind gesture.

Kindly donate through this MTN number.

MTN Momo:
Name: Charity Adjei
Number: 0243 025545

For those who want to donate through the foundation's Bank account number should please contact us for more details.

Thank you in advance for your kind donation and May God richly bless you.

Ps. This is the only recognized number used by EFG FOUNDATION for now. Our official website has been down for a while now but we are working to restore it soon.
This is currently the only Number we use at EFG Foundation (+233) 0243 025545. You may contact us for inquiries and donations.
Thank you

What is Corona Virus or COVID-19?
--------------------------------------------
Corona virus disease (COVID-19) is an infectious disease caused by a new virus that is currently killing thousands of people around the world.
The disease causes respiratory illness (like the flu) with symptoms such as a cough, fever, and in more severe cases, difficulty breathing.

How it spreads:
------------------
Corona virus disease spreads primarily through contact with an infected person when they cough or sneeze. It also spreads when a person touches a surface or object that has the virus on it, then touches their eyes, nose, or mouth.

Disease Prevention:
-------------------------
* Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. If soap and water are not readily available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
* Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth.
* Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
* If you cough or sneeze, do it into your sleeve, or use a tissue. Dispose of the tissue immediately into a closed rubbish bin, and then clean your hands.
* Clean surfaces regularly with disinfectant. For example: always clean kitchen benches and work desks.

If you feel unwell:
---------------------
* Avoid traveling if you have a fever and/or cough. Once you get home, make contact with a health professional and tell them about where you have been.
* If you feel unwell, stay at home and call your healthcare provider.

On masks:
-------------
Wear a mask if:

* You are a health worker treating COVID-19 patients.
* If you are healthy, but taking care of a person with suspected corona virus infection.
* If you are coughing or sneezing.
* Masks are only effective when used in combination with frequent hand cleaning with an alcohol-based hand sanitizer or soap and water. If you wear a mask, then you must know how to use it and dispose of it properly.

Managing rising anxiety or stigma:
------------------------------------------
Here are some important things to take into account if you feel anxious, stressed or frightened.

* It's normal to feel sad, stressed, confused, scared or angry during a crisis. Talking to people you trust can help, such as friends and family or your fellow community members here on Facebook.

* If you must stay at home, maintain a healthy lifestyle, including proper diet, sleep and exercise. Keep up with loved ones at home by email and phone and connect with your larger Facebook community for support.

* Don't use smoking, alcohol or other drugs to deal with your emotions.

* If you feel overwhelmed, talk to a health worker or counselor. Have a plan on where to go to and how to seek help for physical and mental health needs if required.

* Get the facts. Gather information that will help you accurately determine your risk so that you can take reasonable precautions. Find a credible source you can trust such as the WHO website or a local or state public health agency NHS.

Kindly note that all information shared by Education For Future Generation - EFG was gathered from Wikipedia, the World Health Organization and NHS Websites Thank you.
