We love to celebrate our Ghanaian culture and heritage through our clutch bags. By incorporating meaningful African symbols in our designs, we hope you get to appreciate our culture as much as we do. The use of the ahenema (royal sandals) in this design is very intentional. The ahenema dates back to the 18th century during the reign of the 4th Asante king. Ahenema symbolizes power, royalty and heritage. It plays a significant role in the (un)making of kings/chiefs in Akan culture.

By trade, I'm a Financial Analyst but a need to scratch a creative itch sent me on a journey that has me trading in financial reports for fashion and interior design. Let’s face it; I went the Finance route to please my parents anyway (hello African parents!) 😄
I am happy to be following my passion now and I’m most grateful for the tools I bring from my Finance background to my businesses. In my free time, I can be found spending time with my family and friends.

Rocked my Kua shirt dress to the Ghana Action Forum, an event organized by @ahaspora. Absolutely loved the lineup of speakers and the gems they dropped.
I was also pleasantly surprised when they kept showing the video @gipcghana shot about Kua ☺️

Confession: I get so tickled and humbled when I walk into a room and spot impactful women rocking Kua. This event was one of those. I see you Kua Queens 🙌🏾

We affectionately refer to her as the “mini purse” but make no mistakes; she is big enough to hold your phone, keys, hand sanitizer, hand lotion, and a few personal items. She is our cute portable purse who is pleasant on the inside and outside.
We handpick the African print from our local market and make the bags from scratch. With your patronage, we are spreading independence and sustainability while Keeping Us Authentic.
